Call to Prayer: Arise!

(PROPHETIC WORD POEM OF INSPIRATION TO THE CHRISTIAN )

img_3208

The mantel of prayer
is a gift to you, disciple of Christ,
not to a specific priest so accept it
as a sword to wield in the battle field.

Firebrand!

Let the flames of prayer be released
from within to set alight Satan’s plans
and to ignite the Word of truth in God’s sons.
Watchman!

Look to see and hear the LORD.
Sound the alarm at the enemy’s advance
upon man and with the armies of God
shoot the arrow at the hordes of hell as
a protector and defender of man.
Warrior!

As an impenetrable wall,
the LORD entreats that your prayer rain is released to fall
as fire and brimstone for the retreat of the armies of hell,
for He says
“The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”(1)

Intercessor!

Forever seated in heavenly places
and in oneness with Spirit and Royal High Priest,
be a bridge for the crossing over into God’s turf,
a mother to carry the vision unto birth and
a midwife, for the bringing forth of God’s plans.

Arise!

Firebrand,

Watchman,

Warrior,

Intercessor,

stand in unity on the Rock of Salvation,
your Foundation Stone who is Christ,
the Chief Cornerstone. ©2016 Deborah E. Nyamekye
Quote (1) John 10:10WEB

Note: The bible is full of phrases about God’s promises to God’s children. Believers in Christ are declared overcomers from every power of evil against our lives and guaranteed restoration and healing from afflictions. However we must also remember that we have a calling to be God’s vessels or witnesses through Christ Jesus.

Manifestation of promises and blessings of God are conditional to our obedience which is demonstrated through our yieldedness to God in all areas of our lives. Prayer is communicating with God and when we pray it means we are saying “LORD, I accept you as controller of my life and therefore present to you every area of my life as well as my loved ones and the world at large. What concerns you concerns me and therefore I present every issue before you trusting you will outwork it for your good and to the glory of your name” You must also realise that God wants you to be part of the solution to some of your prayer requests as He plans to use believers in Christ for the fulfilment of His plans on earth. Arise and Reclaim

image

It’s time to arise and
reclaim your visions,
dreams, identity and
destiny,
for the enemy comes
again and again,
repeating old
deceptive tunes
as a broken record
and as a masked
dance partner waltzing
with you in “la la” land.

The Father of lies
creates an illusion
of truth, mocks you
day and night and
rocks your boat of life
with such tormenting
force stealing your
blessed goods until
you are provoked
to anchor at his docks,
and live in his
Hammock of death.

Not until you arise from
your slumber and sleep
will you know it is all a
charade to give you
an identity, a destiny that
sustains delusion and
restores your past of
abuse, rejection
and shame.

It’s time to arise,
to proclaim your
purpose.
It’s time to reclaim
by faith what’s yours.
“Take back your inheritance”      says Father of truth.

Arise and Reclaim.

PRAYER:
Merciful Father,
I pray for a great outpouring of Your Spirit of wisdom knowledge and understanding into the life of your children.
I ask that LORD you would expose every deceiving spirit to us and give us the power to overcome.
With the power invested in me through Christ Jesus I rebuke Satan, his demons and decree every work of Satan nullified by the blood of the Lamb.

I ask LORD that you would impart a great measure of the Spirit of discernment into the lives of your people and that we would increase in the knowledge of and live victoriously in the identity and destiny you planned for us. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.Amen.

Scriptural inspiration for Poem:

John 10:10
10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Is. 52:1-3
1Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

2Shake thyself from the dust; arise, [and] sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

3For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

Is.60:1-5
1Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

2For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

4Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at [thy] side.

5Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
