Ability to be a Somebody

A nobody can become a
somebody some day.
If not today or tomorrow it
shall be one day, ’cause
everybody has the ability.

It is possible if you do not lose focus or direction but set your sights on your vision, based on wisdom from the Divine Book of instruction.

Use the key of divine knowledge to open doors. Advance at the beat of the sound of your vision calling,
the pace is set by the rhythm of the songs of your heart resounding.

In the ascent to be a somebody, joys and trials are unwrapped as gifts, moulding for you a heart of integrity.

The blessed vision is a reflection of the somebody you have aimed to be beckoning as from the sky,
full of wisdom and knowledge of the Most High.

Be a somebody today to help a nobody find their way some day.

Keep Moving – You are Somebody!!

Inspirational words/exhortation “Keep Moving” by Revd Martin Luther King Jnr (transcribed from a video)

This is the most important and crucial period of your lives…some of the things that should be in your life’s blueprint, you must have

1.A deep belief in your own dignity, in your own worth in your own somebodiness. Don’t allow anybody to make you feel you are a nobody. Always feel that you count.
Always feel that you have worth and always feel that your life has ultimate significance.

2.As a basic principle the determination to achieve excellence. In your various fields of endeavour are going to be deciding as years, days unfold what you will do in life, what your life’s work will be. Once you set out, do it and do it well. Be a bush if you can’t be a tree. If you can’t be a highway just be a trail. If you can’t be the sun just be a star, for it isn’t by size that you win or fail, be the best of whatever you are.

3.A commitment to the eternal principles of beauty, love and justice. Life has been for none of us a crystal stair but we must keep moving, we must keep going. If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl. But by all means keep moving!
#keepmoving

When I saw the video with above inspirational words by Revd Martin Luther King Jane on a friend’s Facebook page in March this year, it reminded me of a poem I wrote last year:

Poetic Justice – Raising Awareness of a “Bloody” Business involving Black African Victims

Black is Not

Black is Not Slack or …Muck but of Value as any Race!

We must raise awareness to caution Africans so that they do not fall prey to those who have set up businesses to deceive them & trap them.. read on: Share this as widely as possible!

There are some fake agencies from China, Korea, Japan and other parts of Asia currently opened in Nigeria, Ghana and other African countries, promising jobs (domestic ones, such as house-keeping, baby-minding, etc).

However, on arrival, they turn you to anything less than human. Murdering Africans especially girls for their kidney, Heart and Liver. Mostly our own African brothers and Sisters involving in human tracking to Dubai, Cairo especially in Libya, Egypt and Lebanon.

The agents prepare travel documents and everything; when the victim reaches the destination, they begin to live in hell and chances of stayinh alive are slim.

Think of the life you might save (or multitude lives) by circulating this or speaking to someone about it. The one you might save could be your relative and if not they are God’s creation of equal value or worth to you in His eyes.

DO NOT STAY SILENT!!

Thank you

The Sky’s the Limit!

Exhortation/Poem:
In Christ you and I can do all things! praise the LORD! This is because we have all things that pertain to life & godliness. The weapons of our warfare (God’s Word and Spirit) are not carnal but mighty through God for the pulling down of demonic strongholds!

Know therefore that nothing can separate you from God nor His divine will, not even tribulation. Remember afflictions are a stepping stone to the fulfilment of God’s glorious plans, a time to learn how to rise up in strength through God’s Word and prayer. A time to cultivate intimacy with God, trusting that what He said in His word is true; He will never leave you know forsake you. Jesus resolved not to lose any of those that His Father has given him, and that includes you and I. Praise the LORD!

Brethren, God has us in the palm of His hands and He even knows the amount of affliction we would go through and declared through the finished work at Calvary that we are more than a conqueror!

Remember, the sky’s the Limit for you this week and every week to follow in Jesus’ mighty name!! Blessings galore Deborah Esther x

✝Poem: The Sky’s the Limit

Ignoring crucial matters
is as swimming in
shallow waters.
Fear of the advance
is as living within
enemy’s borders.

Our mandate is
to delve deeper.
The sky’s he limit.
We look to see,
Listen to hear
and read to understand.

When we are done,
we act to accomplish.

A special people,
with gifts and potential.
Born with plenty,
we are determined to
utilise all and return
to dust empty.

Prophetic exhortation to those who have suffered racial affliction & victimisation

img_2397God’s intrinsic design of your makeup & origin were not a mistake. He created all men equal!

All God’s creation are precious and worthy to Him, should we therefore not embrace our God given worth regardless of our race, colour and nationality?

For some it takes time, God is patient and is saying the time is now to begin… do not hate yourself, skin colour, race or nation of origin because of how society or people have defined you or what they have said to hurt or mock you. If you do you grieve God who created you. It is as if you are saying He made a mistake or did not create you well. Who are you and I to think or say such things? Even if it is a learnt attitude (to self reject because of experiences), it is not an excuse. It is time to acknowledge such sins and repent. Embrace who you are within, your looks, your skin colour and your race and just carry on living expectant for God’s predestined purposes for you to be fulfilled as you surrender your life into His hands.

Even as a sinner God says He loves you with an unconditional love, He just wants you to repent and live in obedience so that you can enjoy abundant life as His child! Your race, skin colour, nation of origin are the “specifications” He chose for you and the fact that they are different in relation to someone else’s does not make you less of a human being or inferior to anyone for God did not rank these “specifications” according to their worth. Why not? because they are all of equal worth to Him. His intrinsic design for each individual and each collective race are equally beautiful in His eyes.
You have free will, but His hope is that you would agree with Him.

Poem: The Me I Know

The me I know is called black
that’s okay for it’s but a word,
a description of the colour
that’s my skin.

The me I know is God’s
that’s okay for it is the me reborn,
a state of being that’s in the
here and now and for His
purpose, I so define.

The me I know, knows her worth,
that’s okay for it’s a mindset shift,
a knowing of true self,
enabled by whose I am,
the divine.

The me I know who is His,
has escaped, that’s okay, for
it is time for release from
ancient potholes marked
“unworthy” to embrace the
liberation of the Saviour of
nations.
Soaring with healed wings
away from the snare of the
fowler and refusing a status
defined with distaste by
my external colour.

The me I know lives in the
reality of her Saviour’s
finished work among remnant
saints a family of nations and
tribes of a multicoloured hue,
that’s okay for we are one,
the human race.

Call to Prayer: Arise!

(PROPHETIC WORD POEM OF INSPIRATION TO THE CHRISTIAN )

img_3208

The mantel of prayer
is a gift to you, disciple of Christ,
not to a specific priest so accept it
as a sword to wield in the battle field.

Firebrand!

Let the flames of prayer be released
from within to set alight Satan’s plans
and to ignite the Word of truth in God’s sons.
Watchman!

Look to see and hear the LORD.
Sound the alarm at the enemy’s advance
upon man and with the armies of God
shoot the arrow at the hordes of hell as
a protector and defender of man.
Warrior!

As an impenetrable wall,
the LORD entreats that your prayer rain is released to fall
as fire and brimstone for the retreat of the armies of hell,
for He says
“The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”(1)

Intercessor!

Forever seated in heavenly places
and in oneness with Spirit and Royal High Priest,
be a bridge for the crossing over into God’s turf,
a mother to carry the vision unto birth and
a midwife, for the bringing forth of God’s plans.

Arise!

Firebrand,

Watchman,

Warrior,

Intercessor,

stand in unity on the Rock of Salvation,
your Foundation Stone who is Christ,
the Chief Cornerstone. ©2016 Deborah E. Nyamekye
Quote (1) John 10:10WEB

Note: The bible is full of phrases about God’s promises to God’s children. Believers in Christ are declared overcomers from every power of evil against our lives and guaranteed restoration and healing from afflictions. However we must also remember that we have a calling to be God’s vessels or witnesses through Christ Jesus.

Manifestation of promises and blessings of God are conditional to our obedience which is demonstrated through our yieldedness to God in all areas of our lives. Prayer is communicating with God and when we pray it means we are saying “LORD, I accept you as controller of my life and therefore present to you every area of my life as well as my loved ones and the world at large. What concerns you concerns me and therefore I present every issue before you trusting you will outwork it for your good and to the glory of your name” You must also realise that God wants you to be part of the solution to some of your prayer requests as He plans to use believers in Christ for the fulfilment of His plans on earth. Poem of inspirational & prophetic counsel: The Only Opinion that Matters

Introductory discourse:

Whose opinion really matters ? God’s or those of other people? Sadly not everyone treats others with the respect every human being merits. Some will choose to respect or treat others nicely, kindly or respectfully only based on what appeals to them in terms of the person’s economic/social status, culture, religion, nationality or race. This is the fallen ungodly nature still raging within. Let us examine our hearts and if we have this tendency to repent and ask God for forgiveness and cleansing. It is not too late to start afresh and change our ways.

We must always remember that who we are or our worth is not based on how people, society or the “status quo” defines us, but rather on who God Almighty defines us according to His Word. Can I get an Amen?!

Poem: This prophetic poem is intended to remind us, give us some uplifting and inspiration as we interact with one another:

The Only Opinion that Matters

If people complain “my you look so plain” or don’t like you ’cause of your hair and barely there or no make up flair
or whatever the superficial reason,
ask yourself “Whose opinion of me shall I put on the shelf,
the Most High’s or those who elevate self and denigrate other people’s worth?”
The Word of God never on the shelf
but in your heart is rich with God’s opinion to impart.

Christ did not entrust himself to man ’cause he knew what was in their hearts. Entrust yourself to God who declares all men equal,
as a creature in His image your unique outer and inner self is great to behold!
If saved by Christ, washed in his blood then brother, sister you are the righteousness of God and His workmanship in Christ Jesus, to do the works of God.
A clay jar you are with treasure within revealing that the excellency of power is of God and not of men.

Take heed to pay no attention to opinions that lead to destruction.
When some shun and reject you if they find your exterior wrapping unappealing,
it is true to say “a chance they have missed to be blessed by the treasure therein.”
Their blinded eyes deceiving them that they can see,
they live life in realms of superficiality rejecting the “skin deep” reality and end up drowning in a sea of frivolity.

God chose David to be Israel’s King not for his appearance but ’cause he was a man after God’s own heart.
Accept only the opinion of God who said “People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart (1)”,
and remember to “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life (2)”.
