Ability to be a Somebody

A nobody can become a
somebody some day.
If not today or tomorrow it
shall be one day, ’cause
everybody has the ability.

It is possible if you do not lose focus or direction but set your sights on your vision, based on wisdom from the Divine Book of instruction.

Use the key of divine knowledge to open doors. Advance at the beat of the sound of your vision calling,
the pace is set by the rhythm of the songs of your heart resounding.

In the ascent to be a somebody, joys and trials are unwrapped as gifts, moulding for you a heart of integrity.

The blessed vision is a reflection of the somebody you have aimed to be beckoning as from the sky,
full of wisdom and knowledge of the Most High.

Be a somebody today to help a nobody find their way some day.

Created Unique & for His Purposes

img_3190My mother tried to abort me, but did not succeed, people have rejected and wounded me but I am still standing. Praise be unto God who has painstakingly revealed to me that He loves me with an everlasting love, saved my life, created  me unique and for His glorious purposes. What ever your story, sovereign God forknew it and allowed it as He sets the course of your life. He intends to get the ultimate glory out of every situation in your life. Do you let Him?

Created Unique & for His Purposes:

No one is an accident, if you have been told that you were unplanned as a child and so were conceived by accident or you came into this world as a result of rape, I have a message for you: how you came into this world does not determine your worth or significance.

While your mother and father, or one parent voiced any of the afore mentioned reasons why you are on earth to you, that was their opinion based on the facts that actually happened and if you are still suffering the effects of being told such details of how you came into being, may our God of compassion heal you completely in Jesus’ name.

I was born out of wedlock and my mother attempted to abort me. She told me in the 1980s “your dad said we were just playing, but despite several attempts to abort you, you just would not die and a nurse advised me to stop doing so. I listened to her” She did not choose to tell me, my sibling told me about her attempt to abort me and when I questioned her she confirmed it and gave me further details. Indeed I am very much alive, while I have been through much rejection and afflictions, I have along the way gone through recurring healing and deliverance and also chosen to forgive my parents. This is because God has imparted revelation and understanding that He saved me from being aborted, from eternal damnation and is in absolute control of every aspect of my life. He had predestined plans for me; in time I came to know what these plans were and I am now living in the fullness of most of them. To God be the glory, great things He has done!

Our sovereign God who is all knowing, all seeing and all powerful foreknew how you would come into this world. Man has free will, but God is the creator of the following process as all things: conception, fetus formation and the gestation period until birth. He formed you in your mother’s womb and knew what you would look like.
God gave you your unique finger prints, DNA, iris and palm prints among other biometrics.

“13For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. 14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, [and] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.16Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written, [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there was] none of them.” (Ps. 139:13-16 KJV)

God chose who your parents would be and where you would live (Acts 17:26)

If you have been wounded by your parents because of the way they have treated you or the words they have said, forgive them and if they are still alive let them know they are forgiven and reach out to them with the love of the LORD. Whatever they put you through, they were chosen by God to be your parents and you are required by God to honour them.

What a privilege and joy to know that as Christians our destiny was outworked such that at some stage in our lives we became children of God. Just think our names were written in the Lamb’s book of life before the foundation of the world. So if someone tells you that you were unplanned, an accident or even attempts to make you feel insignificant because you do not in their opinion conform to the norm (again in their opinion, not God’s as regards what the norm is!) be reminded that not only were you created by the one and only Master Creator, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, you were chosen even before your parents met and conceived you as one of those who would know God and serve Him through Christ.
“16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” (John 15:16 KJV).

Our unique destiny path results in us meeting others in the family of God who have also come from their unique backgrounds and journey.

The Apostle Paul (1 Corinth. 12:12-26) used the following analogy : As each human part is necessary for the function of the human body as a whole so too each member of the Body of Christ is needed for the function of the whole. The different parts of the human body are unique, an eye does not look like or function as the ear, nor the foot as the arm but they are nevertheless necessary and important parts of the human body. Likewise in the Body of Christ we do not look alike naturally nor have the same giftings and callings because we are unique natural and spiritual individuals but each of us are necessary and important parts of the body of Christ.

When we are new believers in Christ, there is a new destiny path as a member of the kingdom of God which again as our pathway before is unique or unlike that of anyone else. It is only when we stay close to God, in obedience to His word and in total surrender to Him that we are able to fulfill our destinies as children of God.

Brethren let us maintain a life of reverential fear of the Lord and engage in spiritual check ups periodically along our journey as purposeful individuals for God.
If we reach the stage in our Christian lives when we start thinking we are too strong in the LORD  to fall into temptation or to be deceived then we are in trouble because pride has taken root.
“Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” (Prov. 16:18 KJV)

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6)

In our spiritual check up, we humbly pray as David did

“23Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:24And see if [there be any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23-24 KJV)
“12…cleanse thou me from secret [faults].13Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.14Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” (Psalm 19:12-14 KJV).

Not long before Jesus died he prepares his disciples for his departure with comforting and uplifting words. What he says in the first couple of verses of John 14 which has often been missed confirms that we are individually regarded as unique in God’s eyes.
Meaning? Well you and I have our own mansions built for us because Jesus said “in my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2 KJV)

While we are with other believers in Christ a collective redeemed people of God destined to worship Him day and night in heaven, we are individually heirs with Christ and therefore kings and priests unto God (Rev 1:6/5:10). The preparation of Christ following his ascension is so that we would be received by Him at the end of the age as kings and priests unto God befitting our individual restful mansions. This is as opposed to masses of God’s people abiding in what looks like dormitories. It is a literal fact as Jesus interjected “…if it were not so, I would have told you…” (John 14:2 KJV).

It is also very exciting and the ultimate assurance we need that even while undergoing a unique and purposeful life on earth designed to glorify God, awaiting every true child of God is a welcome by Him which honors them. Someone might say “is it necessary?! The fact that we are with Him in itself is all that matters”.

My brothers and sisters, we serve a God who loves not only to tell us He loves us but also to show His appreciation for our purposeful lives in His regard by rewarding us in unique ways. Jesus emphasised the truth of what he was saying by adding “if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you into myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”. (John 14:3 KJV)

Yes, our Lord Jesus will come back to us and take us where he is and while we know our spiritual position while on earth is as ones raises up with Christ and seated in the heavenly realms with God in Christ (Eph 2:6), we are assured that we will be there with him physically. So let us rejoice, eagerly awaiting that day. Praise the LORD!

You are blessed, determine to stay blessed.

Poem of inspirational & prophetic counsel: The Only Opinion that Matters

Introductory discourse:

Whose opinion really matters ? God’s or those of other people? Sadly not everyone treats others with the respect every human being merits. Some will choose to respect or treat others nicely, kindly or respectfully only based on what appeals to them in terms of the person’s economic/social status, culture, religion, nationality or race. This is the fallen ungodly nature still raging within. Let us examine our hearts and if we have this tendency to repent and ask God for forgiveness and cleansing. It is not too late to start afresh and change our ways.

We must always remember that who we are or our worth is not based on how people, society or the “status quo” defines us, but rather on who God Almighty defines us according to His Word. Can I get an Amen?!

Poem: This prophetic poem is intended to remind us, give us some uplifting and inspiration as we interact with one another:

The Only Opinion that Matters

If people complain “my you look so plain” or don’t like you ’cause of your hair and barely there or no make up flair
or whatever the superficial reason,
ask yourself “Whose opinion of me shall I put on the shelf,
the Most High’s or those who elevate self and denigrate other people’s worth?”
The Word of God never on the shelf
but in your heart is rich with God’s opinion to impart.

Christ did not entrust himself to man ’cause he knew what was in their hearts. Entrust yourself to God who declares all men equal,
as a creature in His image your unique outer and inner self is great to behold!
If saved by Christ, washed in his blood then brother, sister you are the righteousness of God and His workmanship in Christ Jesus, to do the works of God.
A clay jar you are with treasure within revealing that the excellency of power is of God and not of men.

Take heed to pay no attention to opinions that lead to destruction.
When some shun and reject you if they find your exterior wrapping unappealing,
it is true to say “a chance they have missed to be blessed by the treasure therein.”
Their blinded eyes deceiving them that they can see,
they live life in realms of superficiality rejecting the “skin deep” reality and end up drowning in a sea of frivolity.

God chose David to be Israel’s King not for his appearance but ’cause he was a man after God’s own heart.
Accept only the opinion of God who said “People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart (1)”,
and remember to “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life (2)”.

9/07/2016 “Say to the ‘We see, say nothing, do nothing crowd'”

img_2394I only came across this quote by Martin Luther King (picture above) 12th August 2016, it reminds me of what God spoke in the prophecy He gave me

about the “We see, say nothing, do nothing crowd” copied & pasted below:

9/07/2016 “Say to the ‘We see, say nothing, do nothing crowd'”

This morning, what I hear the LORD commissioning me to say, note and repeat when I have opportunity….

Note: before I continue, please receive this for yourself sincerely if you feel you need to and let’s stand in the gap for the church as a whole – come to God in repentance and offer ourselves once again to Him as a church for Him to change us and use us:

This is what the LORD said to me in the early hours of the morning today:

Say to the “We see, say nothing, do nothing crowd”

“when it is blessings they want from me, they will thump on my door day and night,

When it is healing they seek, they will give me no rest.

But when my stomach groans in hunger and my tongue is dry with thirst and I put my empty bowl and cup before them they glare at me as if blind and preach the gospel, grinning in self satisfaction as if to say “I have done my good deed for the day!”

When I have no where to lay my head, many with their leaders walk past me with hollow pity in their hearts. They have no love for me, some think they do but in reality it is a state of mind, an illusion for they are far from me. I see not love in their actions.
Many churches, grand cathedrals are as bejewelled concert halls for their pleasure not mine, places left empty most of the time while I have no where to lay my head and the cold night causes a deadly chill in my bones.

When I am lonely, hated and bullied for some reason, abused and disrespected because of the colour of my skin, most who say they are joined with me turn a blind eye and have no time for me, yet they will say Hallelujah, raise their hands as if in adoration.

To me their silence to my hunger, my thirst and my need of shelter, companionship ..
to my need for justice, a listening ear and love

speak loud and clear “we see, say nothing, we do nothing” so their hallelujahs and raised hands mean nothing to me! says the LORD.

This scripture comes to mind Matthew 25:31-46

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats:

33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee]?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.

46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

We see your beauty reflected all around, in the heavens
on the earth
in the life of man.

The beauty of the sunset and sunrise,
The beauty of nature in the transition of seasons,
In these we see your love-filled face, as through still waters with a rainbow trace
revealing your Covenant of Peace.

We hear your voice saying to Post Flood humanity
“You are heirs of my rest”

The beauty of a testimony of healing from sickness,
The beauty of a new birth in the sanctuary of our Lord,
with hands raised in worship to the King.
In these we feel your love-filled breath of life,
as the embrace of a loved one, void of any strife, revealing your New Covenant of abundant life.

We hear your voice saying to the redeemed of Christ “The old is gone, the new has come…You have my rest”.

Small Beginnings Make Way for Great Things

Note: This is part of Psalm 8 “God is mindful of man” Teaching Series: Creator God & His Mindfulness of Humanity including their Interpersonal Relationships. Meaning? He works to restore their relationship with Him through Christ which inevitably and simultaneously includes  working for unity, love & peace with one another (John 17:21). Being restored in the image of God as we were created through Christ includes relating to people in the way God requires us to. How can we say we love God who we cannot see if we hate our brother (another  person) who we can see (1 John 4:20)?

Introduction
Feeling small in your own eyes, unsure or insecure in regards to your ability to excel?
Well it’s time for a mindset change because the God who created you created you with the potential to excel for you have a calling (everyone does) which is declared ready to breakout and advance when you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Even if you do not feel “small in your own eyes”, it is important to receive assurance from time to time by being reminded of God’s ability to give us supernatural strength and wisdom by his power to stay joyful and encouraged in a world that is full of discouragement and affliction.
If you are not a Christian this inspirational teaching or exhortation is also for you as it will reveal to you that through accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour, God is able to take you as he did Jesus from humble beginnings or small works for his sake to a place of doing more so as to glorify Him and His kingdom even more.
With Jesus as our greatest example, we can rest assured, if we stay abiding in God, that there is no affliction we cannot overcome nor any great feat we cannot accomplish.

img_2259

If you think you are from humble beginnings and therefore because of that God cannot use you for anything let alone great things, then think again!

From the Gospels we see that Jesus Christ is our greatest example of one who came from a humble background and trained to be a carpenter in his youth, yet he had great wisdom and was able to debate in the synagogue with religious leaders.

God came into the world in the person of Jesus Christ in a way that the Jewish leaders were not expecting for they expected a Messiah to appear as a notable figure who would help them defeat Roman Empire dominion.
Instead he came into the world as a “nobody” in the eyes of the unbelieving Jews. Yes he was from the Royal line of David as we read of Joseph’s genealogy but his parents were not conspicuous figures and he was born in a manger! In fact he chose to live in Nazareth for a while which appeared not to have had a good reputation, for it was said of it “can anything good come out of Nazareth?” as spoken by Nathanael (John 1:46).

Perhaps people have said that about your family, locality or nation but have you thought that you were chosen to be from among them because God wants to use you and so surprise the world that indeed someone worthy can come out of such a place?

Jean Francois Champollion had such a passion for ancient languages, he eventually solved a mystery that none of the world’s great scholars had been able to solve which was deciphering the hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt. Where was this man from? A small inconspicuous town called Figeac in south west France.

God is not a respector of persons. He will not decide to choose someone to anoint or use for great works based on what nation, race, social or economic class status they are a part of which are deemed respectable or preferable in the eyes of man.

Who can instruct God? He chooses who He chooses, for instance in Old Testament scriptures we read how God chose Jacob over Esau his brother and Ephraim over Manasseh his brother to impart the blessings of the first born child although Esau and Manasseh were the oldest sons. It may not make sense but He is God and does as He pleases, His ways are higher than those of man although they may be foolish to man.

If you are a believer who has a habit of putting yourself down which includes your God given abilities, I say it is time for change!

The size of your talents, gifts, anointing or capabilities may be small in your own eyes but God does not rate them the way you do. If Jesus says a mustard seed sized faith can move mountains, likewise a mustard seed anointing or gift so to speak can do the same. Is the faith in God and anointing or capability for service not from the same source?

Be reminded that how we see things are not as He sees them, so it is time we took stock so as to enter into a new season of life where we see as God does. The question we should be asking ourselves is, whose spiritual “lenses” or “hearing aid” do we have on? By “lenses” or “hearing aid” I mean perception which is defined as “the ability to see, hear or become aware of something through the senses” however in this context the question is who has control over our senses ? Is it God ourselves and/or the devil? The sanctification process involves our senses coming under God’s control so that what we see, hear and become aware of are understood from God’s perspective or outlook because our senses are sanctified.

The spiritual “lenses” or “hearing aid” (perception) with the tagline “I can achieve great things” are from God of course, and enables you to see yourself as a mighty man or woman of valor as Gideon (see Judges 6) was. Gideon also had to come to the place where he saw himself as God saw him before he could be used mightily by God.

Often times even as born again believers, we still have the “I am small in my own eyes” perception. This can be a constant attitude or when something major happens to bring discouragement.
Some of the reasons why such debasing self perception takes place and affects our Christian walk are :
1. How we were made to see ourselves as children by family members or peers.
2. The result of a particularly traumatic experience which affected us to the point that we lost our confidence in one or more areas.
3. The habit of looking at other people and allowing the enemy to cause us to think that who they are in terms of their appearance, social standing, popularity riches etc…means they are more worthy or better than who we are.

The bible says we are heirs of the kingdom of God which Jesus (Matthew 13:45-46) compared to a pearl of great price found in a field by a merchant who so wanted it that he sold all he had and bought the whole field! Goodness ! Just reflect on the magnitude of your preciousness to God through Jesus Christ as a member of the “pearl of great price” kingdom of God!

God values us as he does Jerusalem and will not relent until your “brightness” or who you are predefined to be, by him comes forth (Is. 62:1) and you are as a crown of glory and a royal diadem in His hand (Is. 62:3). The Lord can impress such scriptures on our hearts when he wants to comfort or encourage us as is my personal testimony.

As a believer in Jesus, you are His workmanship through Jesus Christ and therefore anointed for service. If you don’t know already seek God in prayer as to what exactly he has called you to partake of in church and the community for His glory. Everyone who is God’s through Christ Jesus has a part to play in the Body of Christ, without your active service something vital and therefore important to God will not get done.

Dear Father
we ask for forgive if we have placed limitations on what you can do in and through us.
As we abide in you LORD, our desire is to do your will and so to fulfill your calling on our lives. We therefore ask today that you would do a deep work in us daily so that our spiritual “lenses” and “hearing aid” are cleansed. In this way we are able to see, hear and become aware of things from your standpoint especially how we perceive ourselves. We thank you for the Holy Spirit who indwells us and reminds us daily of Jesus’ teachings and communicates your will to us. Help us to live a life in the Spirit so that we partner with you for the fulfillment of all that you are doing in our lives.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

You are blessed, determine to stay blessed.

Prophetic Insight: Crazy Clowns & A Circus in the Dead of Night…

d8f6a0af-ec68-4204-8cfc-0ffaa5840737Sinister Clowns appearing all over cities in America & UK
– A prophetic revelation of the reinforced wicked state of our world: The scary masquerading ruling class in the “circus”  land & church.
-My poem: “A Circus in the Dead of Night” comes to mind.

All this hype which is real about sinister clowns popping up everywhere and scaring children.
This is a natural manifestation of what is happening in the spiritual realm, a reinforcement of Satan and his demons as masked or masquerading beings even through politicians, judges and the ruling class deceiving God’s creation (his children), scaring them to the point that many no longer want to have anything to do with politics, the government nor do they think it is worth voting.

The same is on the increase in the church, Satan’s agents or sorcerers, people who don’t want to pay the sacrificial price of a Christian faith who are masked or two faced parading or masquerading as pastors “clowns” in the pulpit, saying one thing and doing another mocking children of God and frightening many so that they no longer trust the establishment that is church!

This is all confirming prophecy that wickedness will increase. Indeed even those in high office in the church and secular world are increasingly engaging in deplorable things as they have no fear of God. They are involved in lasciviousness, debauchery, hedonism; prostitution, sexual assault and rape, which some even justify or think it is funny saying their vices are not as bad as someone else. Increasingly people are seeing their leaders for who they are (behind the masks) and many in subjugation are in danger of being in likeness to them, masked clowns because one naturally follows the leader!!

This is the most difficult era for those with any good or godly moral sense!

There is much reason to lament ! But we who trust God of our Lord Jesus Christ have hope!

Praying for discernment or the gift of discerning of spirits is more crucial in this hour than ever before; God help us to discern truth from deception/hypocrisy in Jesus’ mighty name!
Intercessors let us continue praying fervently!!!

REMINDER OF A POEM I WROTE: “A circus in the dead of night”
I have started to hear about these scary clowns in the last two weeks only and it started in America, when exactly I do not know. However each time my mind goes to a poem I woke up one morning in mid September and felt compelled to write:

A Circus in the Dead of Night

The world is a circus in the dead of night with bestial ways abounding
as men display their skills and talents
to an audience preferring the vile and
dangerous feats in life’s parade.

The hypocrite and deceiver is the masked mocker, the clown who
manipulates and seduces the crowd for loud laughs and reverence, but strikes when one’s guard is down.

The broken and maimed form a continuous procession along the streets as on a carousel.
A people whose fate is for the gain of the owner of keys to their chains.

Fearful and oppressed nerves jitter as on a roller coaster.
Confused and worried minds dizzy in thought as on a merry go round.

Well suited masses are a shadow of their true selves, each a reflection of someone else.
The living dead, consumed with self are performers in the concert of life. As circus artists in camouflage they dance the jive of death to the tune of funeral criers and church bell chimes.

The world is a circus in crises in the dead of night, will it welcome broad day light and the appearance of the healer, a true giver of life?
