God’s call on His People: “Be my Arms/Voice… Care for the burdened, wounded & lost”

Our Compassionate God reminds us of a key concern that is our mission: the plight of the burdened, wounded & lost.
Note: In the early hours of the morning of 20th August 2016, I had a vision: A door was open and I saw it led into the dark night and many people were being ushered through it, into darkness.

I started to sense the LORD wanted to speak so I took a pen and was led to write the following:

“Many souls are being lost, heading for the “dark night” of hell. Your Heavenly Father is saddened and grieved by this loss.

There are those who have been blindfolded into believing lies from birth, even about their worth, their state of mind and see themselves as subhuman, undeserving. But that is not how I see them, that is not what I created them to be.

Tell the saints, raise the sound and let them hear me now: This is your mission, what I have called you to do – to raise up those in the dust, those emotionally torn and so wounded they have lost hope.

Preach my word, teach it to all, but remember my arms are your arms to embrace, my touch is your touch to caress, my voice is your voice to speak words of comfort and encouragement. My ears are your ears to listen to those who no one will listen to, to those who have a burden they have carried as a heavy load for years.

I came to heal the broken hearted and it is through you that I can do the healing. You are my hands, my feet, my voice and my ears.

Take action! The world awaits you! My people, my creation are dying, emotionally worn and torn and beaten, mentally stressed and afflicted.

Who will go for me? Who? Many of those who are mine are busy but I say be busy for my bidding, for my commission, for that which I desire from you, be busy for my sake, my heart’s sake!”

Our compassionate God has spoken, let us heed to His voice. Amen.

Poem: Nostalgia at it’s Best

IMG_1973.JPGIntroduction: What does nostalgia mean? Cambridge dictionary: A feeling of pleasure and also slight sadness when you think about things that happened in the past.

Or Dictionary.com: a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one’s life, to one’s home or homeland, or to one’s family and friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time.

Nostalgia is a normal human state of being. In every human beings’ life time we will experience it at different times to varying degrees.

In this poem, I highlight what nostalgia means to “my friend” and it’s negative and positive impact on one’s emotions and outlook depending on the memories one chooses to look back on as well as how this is done.

While writing this poem, I could not help but think of how the act of being nostalgic can in itself have immense power over our thoughts and emotions thus determining whether we live depressed or happy lives in our current situation. Perhaps this is why, the poem evolved as it did – giving counsel to “my friend” concentrate on nostalgia at its best!

Poem – Nostalgia at its Best

What is the point of taking a journey back in time if it brings to the fore painful emotions and fans into flame rage suppressed for many years?

What is the point if the step back revives thoughts of unrequited love and unfulfilled dreams, a reminder of times of hopelessness and oppression?

If you think you can turn the clock back and heal the pain and quench flames of offence, I would say “that’s a great fairy tale my friend”.

If you think you can retreat in a time capsule and there receive reciprocation of love and fulfilment of dreams, then “dream on” is all I can say to that my friend.

Make belief illusions to make good your past is a walk backwards unto destruction.
Open the door of past realities that yield affection, ’cause nostalgia at its best is the place to be, my friend.

Cherish thoughts from the past that merit their place in the gaiety of your heart and that cause the breaking forth into laughter and a great spring in your step, my friend.

Awake the past that makes you sing and unroll the blinds of memories that cause you to give thanks to the divine. Nostalgia at its best is the place to be, my friend.

For as the years pass by and there is not much to do, causing sighs and groans and life drags on like a boring play, then you would be pleased to have done as I plead;
Abide in Nostalgia at its best, my friend.

The Write Life Story

img_2401

Man is his brother’s keeper,
created to love as he
craves to be loved,
to care as he desires
to be cared for.

If by my obedience to serve
with the pen others are awakened
to serve society productively
and acquire the zeal
of interconnectivity, working
for a world void of
injustice and inequality,
then to my joy their works
become the invisible
pages in my life’s
complete story.

This poem was written as part of the introduction (in “Welcome & About us” page) to this blog: Human Life, Racial & Social justice blog, started October 2016.

It is a blog about people, their personal and interpersonal issues and relations. It is also about their general everyday life which I observe and feel led to write about.

It is also about people’s relationship with God and His with them. God upholds or values and prioritises human beings above all His other creatures after all we are created in His image. Indeed what a magnificent image that is !!!

He therefore calls us to love and value ourselves and others in the same way as he does.

9/07/2016 “Say to the ‘We see, say nothing, do nothing crowd'”

img_2394I only came across this quote by Martin Luther King (picture above) 12th August 2016, it reminds me of what God spoke in the prophecy He gave me

about the “We see, say nothing, do nothing crowd” copied & pasted below:

9/07/2016 “Say to the ‘We see, say nothing, do nothing crowd'”

This morning, what I hear the LORD commissioning me to say, note and repeat when I have opportunity….

Note: before I continue, please receive this for yourself sincerely if you feel you need to and let’s stand in the gap for the church as a whole – come to God in repentance and offer ourselves once again to Him as a church for Him to change us and use us:

This is what the LORD said to me in the early hours of the morning today:

Say to the “We see, say nothing, do nothing crowd”

“when it is blessings they want from me, they will thump on my door day and night,

When it is healing they seek, they will give me no rest.

But when my stomach groans in hunger and my tongue is dry with thirst and I put my empty bowl and cup before them they glare at me as if blind and preach the gospel, grinning in self satisfaction as if to say “I have done my good deed for the day!”

When I have no where to lay my head, many with their leaders walk past me with hollow pity in their hearts. They have no love for me, some think they do but in reality it is a state of mind, an illusion for they are far from me. I see not love in their actions.
Many churches, grand cathedrals are as bejewelled concert halls for their pleasure not mine, places left empty most of the time while I have no where to lay my head and the cold night causes a deadly chill in my bones.

When I am lonely, hated and bullied for some reason, abused and disrespected because of the colour of my skin, most who say they are joined with me turn a blind eye and have no time for me, yet they will say Hallelujah, raise their hands as if in adoration.

To me their silence to my hunger, my thirst and my need of shelter, companionship ..
to my need for justice, a listening ear and love

speak loud and clear “we see, say nothing, we do nothing” so their hallelujahs and raised hands mean nothing to me! says the LORD.

This scripture comes to mind Matthew 25:31-46

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats:

33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee]?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.

46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Covenant Keeping God

We see your beauty reflected all around, in the heavens
on the earth
in the life of man.

The beauty of the sunset and sunrise,
The beauty of nature in the transition of seasons,
In these we see your love-filled face, as through still waters with a rainbow trace
revealing your Covenant of Peace.

We hear your voice saying to Post Flood humanity
“You are heirs of my rest”

The beauty of a testimony of healing from sickness,
The beauty of a new birth in the sanctuary of our Lord,
with hands raised in worship to the King.
In these we feel your love-filled breath of life,
as the embrace of a loved one, void of any strife, revealing your New Covenant of abundant life.

We hear your voice saying to the redeemed of Christ “The old is gone, the new has come…You have my rest”.
